Press the sealer down, and watch it suck the air out of the bag, or move on to prepping the next bag. There is no need for supervision. Do note that this particular vacuum food sealer is not a commercial product. It is recommended that a cool down period of fifteen to twenty minutes between every three to four bags.

The chamber variety food saver vacuum sealer is neither small nor lightweight. The chamber style is food saver vac is normally used for commercial applications. It also functions differently than the external vacuum food sealer. You place the whole bag into the unit, close the lid and move on. These units accommodate a larger quantity of food. Most offer multiple bag compartments, also. Although business orientated, the chamber variety can be a good idea if you have a large family to feed, or a planning for a social event.
